{"id":116,"date":"2007-12-29T08:42:40","date_gmt":"2007-12-29T07:42:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.realvinylz.de\/urban-klassiker\/alec-empire-low-on-ice\/"},"modified":"2014-09-13T11:48:29","modified_gmt":"2014-09-13T09:48:29","slug":"alec-empire-low-on-ice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/realvinylz.net\/?p=116","title":{"rendered":"Alec Empire &#8211; Low On Ice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Der Noise-, Digital Hardcore- und Atari Punk-Prankster <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alec-empire.com\/\">Alec Empire<\/a>, den ich hier mal als bekannt voraussetze, hat ausserhalb seines stahlzers\u00e4genden Oeuvres mit u.a. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/atr922000\">Atari Teenage Riot<\/a> und <a href=\"http:\/\/merzbow.net\/\">Merzbow<\/a>, auch einige subtile Alben wie z.B. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.discogs.com\/release\/160461\">Les \u00c9toiles Des Filles Mortes<\/a> oder <a href=\"http:\/\/www.discogs.com\/release\/64197\">Low on Ice<\/a> auf <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mille-plateaux.net\">Mille Plateaux<\/a>  releast.<\/p>\n<p>Das Album <b> Low On Ice &#8211; The Iceland Sessions<\/b> wurde 1995 w\u00e4hrend einer Island-Tour mit <b>Atari Teenage Riot<\/b> auf Alec&#8217;s Laptop &#8211; seinem <b>Suitcase Recording Studio<\/b> &#8211; in drei Tagen aufgenommen.<\/p>\n<p>\n<center><img src='http:\/\/www.realvinylz.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/lowonice.jpg' alt='Low On Ice Albumcover' width=300 vspace=10 ><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Die phasengeshifteten und runtergefilterten Beats, subsonischen Frequenzen und minimalen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bass-synthesizer.de\/roland\/tb-303-3.html\">TB-303<\/a>-Lines erinnern an eine Mischung aus <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biosphere.no\/\">Biosphere<\/a> und dem fr\u00fchen <b>Plastikman<\/b>. Die Eisw\u00fcste von Island zieht zu den kalten Soundscapes wie im Opiumrausch am inneren Auge vorbei.
