Der Style von Q-Tip, DJ Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Jarobi and Phife Dawg hie\u00df damals Native Tongue und bildete zusammen mit den <strong>Jungle Brothers<\/strong>, <strong>Queen Latifah<\/strong> und <strong>De la Soul <\/strong>eine Art Reform-HipHop als Antwort auf den Ass, Boobs and Violence zentrierten Old School HipHop. Sowohl auf formaler (sampletechnischer) als auch inhaltlicher Ebene ging es um Consciousness, Humor und Geschichtsbewusstsein. Und vor allem klingt es bis heute fresh.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mickboogie.com\/excursions\/\">Download here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nat\u00fcrlich hat die Bands unz\u00e4hlige andere Bands \u00e4sthetisch beeinflusst und so komme ich auch endlich dazu die toll produzierte EP <strong>Seasons: SPRING<\/strong> des 17j\u00e4hrigen Rappers <strong>Soul Mad<\/strong> auf dem Leipziger Label <a href=\"http:\/\/www.resistantmindz.de\">Resistanz Mindz<\/a> zu erw\u00e4hnen. Der Flow von Soul Mad ist originell und outstanding, erinnert sogar teilweise an den unsterblichen Q-Tip. <\/p>\n<p>\nProduziert wurde die EP von <a href=\"www.soundcloud.com\/proflogik\">Prof.logik<\/a> aus New York, dessen h\u00f6rbare Einfl\u00fcsse von DJ Premier, ATCQ \u00fcber Company Flow bis hin zu Dorian Concept (check out &#8218;Fallin&#8216;) reichen.
