Der Zugang erschien mir zu einfach, zu slick. Ja gut, habe ich gedacht, ein weiteres Madlib-Beattape mit irgendeinem MC. Doch irgendwo las ich, dass Freddie Gibbs das dialektische Gegenst\u00fcck zu <strong>MF Doom<\/strong> sei, mit dem Madlib 2004 das Meilenstein-Album <strong>Madvillainy<\/strong> aufgenommen hat. Und in der Tat: <strong>Pi\u00f1ata<\/strong> is here to stay!<\/p>\n<p>Madlib samplet sich mal wieder im Blue Note Catalog rauf und runter und Gibbs erz\u00e4hlt anachronistische Stories von Drogendeals und urbanem Zerfall. Zusammen ergibt das einen imagin\u00e4ren Blaxploitation-Film, der mich im Sp\u00e4tsommer wild kopfnickend und gestikulierend durch Kreuzberg begleitet hat.
