‚So, here it is. Leandi is my spring and summer of 2009. More specifically it\u2019s my most sincere release in a very long time. It\u2019s the result of looking at the creation process in a different light, without engaging in reasoning and just letting the music come as it may. Normally I would venture into more ambient landscapes and experimental sounds, but I wanted this release to be simple and open. Heavily inspired by childhood, fatherhood, watching my son grow up, play, communicate and learn the ways of the world‘, so der Schwede Radix aka Mosaik \u00fcber seine EP Leandi<\/a>.<\/p>\n Gerade dieses kindhafte, spielerisch-leichte erinnert stark an die melodischen Werke auf Warp Records in den 90ern. Das klingt wie Plaid in ihren fr\u00f6hlichen Momenten, ohne deren Komplexit\u00e4t in den Klangschichtungen und Hallr\u00e4umen, aber auch das endlos-tr\u00e4umerische, das stellenweise auf \u00b5-Ziqs 97er Album Lunatic Harness<\/a> zu h\u00f6ren ist, ist besonders im Titeltrack sp\u00fcrbar, wo sich dann doch kurz vor Schluss wieder alles verdreht und man sich nichts sehnlicher w\u00fcnscht, als das es noch ein paar Stunden so weiter geht.<\/p>\n Einziger Wermutstropfen ist, dass zwischendurch ein leichtes New-Age-Feeling aufkommt. Das kann noch schneller als bei Trance zum v\u00f6lligen Abturn f\u00fchren.<\/p>\n Disclaimer: <\/strong>Bin gerade unterwegs und auf die Boxen des Laptops angewiesen.
